프랑스에서 가장 경주거리가 긴 2세마 G1 대상경주다.

2019년 프랑스 개선문상 우승마 발트가이스트(Waldgeist)가 2016년 대회에서 우승했다.

생클루(Saint-Cloud)는 파리 서부 교외 일드프랑스(Île-de-France) 오드센주(Hauts-de-Seine)에 위치한 도시(commune)로 파리 도심에서 9.6km 정도 떨어져 있다.
